Sometimes, the best ideas begin with a simple thought:
What if we tried?
That’s how everything started.
Two people with a dream, the same doubts and fears as anyone else:
What if it doesn’t work?
Where will we produce?
What if people don’t like it?
We had no certainties, no experience —
but plenty of curiosity, excitement, and a strong desire to create something real.
In 2021, we decided to take the leap and build a sustainable brand made in Spain,
one that would reflect our lifestyle and our values.
We moved cities, left our jobs, and started from scratch.
No perfect plan. No guarantees.
Just the belief that we could do things differently.
We spent months researching recycled and vegan materials,
visiting small family factories, and learning from every mistake.
We wanted to create sustainable sneakers — comfortable, durable,
and responsibly made — but, above all, filled with purpose.
That’s how KUMI Sneakers was born:
a small brand with a big dream behind it.
A story about people, about shared journeys,
and about the belief that fashion can be responsible
without losing style or authenticity.
Today, every order that leaves our warehouse carries a piece of that story.
Ours — but also yours.
Because every person who chooses KUMI
believes in a more conscious way of consuming,
in authenticity, quality and doing things well.
KUMI is no longer just our project.
It’s a community of Outstanding People —
authentic souls who don’t give up,
who chase their dreams, and leave their mark.
